Goodyear tires

even the NEXTEL Cup guys were complaining about the tires. Why would Goodyear bring such a hard tire to race with all weekend? The drivers were complaining all thru practice qualifying and racing, let alone scared to death of crashing!

It's good to see the refs in the NHL starting to let the players play a bit. If they would call all the penalties that are penalties and leave the "phantom" calls alone (refs love interference calls) and let tghem play you wouldn't get what happened to Chris Simon on the weekend happening ,cause the the hit on Simon was definite boarding by a third rate player who is a cheap shot artist, wghich should have been called in the first place. If they don't get called then the players police themselves.
Is Edmonton ever going to win another game after trading away Ryan Smith? They are winless since they traded him at the deadline. Makes you wonder why they traded him in the first place.

Nascar Tires in Vegas and the HAbs

NASCAR BUSCH SERIES From Vegas,

Well it seems as if Good Year wants to have lots of crashes at the newly renovated and freshly paved Las Vegas Speedway. The tires seem to have everyone on edge as during qualifying and the Busch series race on Saturday everyone was super lose. Many crashes were from guys getting lose opn restarts and almost all of them said the same thing.....the tires are too hard and its like driving on black ice. Sunday's race could be mayhem!

On with the Habs,

well after losing 5 games in a row the HAbs finally one tonite in St Louis. But everone ahead of them is winning as well as Montreal sits 11th 3 points out of the 8th and final playoff berth! It will be an uphill battle from here.

Habs need to win fast

Well just as I predicted the Habs came out of the box fast at the beginning of the year then after Christmas they started to falter. Injuries had a part of it but now it seems they can't win any games and are fighting for 8th place in the Eastern conference now. I hope they can keep the fight going and be more productive in their games towards the playoffs

Trivium

ell holy crap. Went to see 4 of some of the heaviest bands on the planet last night. My quest to find the heaviest bands in the world is almost coming to an end as I and some friends witnessed Gojira, Machine Head, Trivium and Lamb of God all together in one hell of a show. Thanks to SIRIUS satellite Radio these bands are played very frequently and I get to expand my Heavy Metal interests beyond the norm of what some local radios stations call heavy metal. Actually I can't listen to local radio stations anymore cause they are just plain bad.

Jaun

Well I don't know if I would want to be Jaun Pablo Montayo today after he collided with his teammate Scott Pruet with 8 laps to go in Mexico. I know he was going for the win and there is two sides to every story but it seems liek Jaun could have waited a bit. He was going to pass him eventually. Chip Ganassi looked like he was steaming after the incident which robbed him of a one two finish for owner points.
